Wow, the circus that is Britney Spears's life and her frienemies, like Sam Lufti seems to be never ending. Personally, I do not follow this on-going saga, or care but to answer your question, I suspect Lufti may be able to win parts of his lawsuit, though probably not in its entirety.
For example, if he really has a text message from Spears from Oct. 13, 2007 in which the singer wrote: "sam, so thats fine, i want you to be my manager, you were right its 15 percent of my money but for 4 years not 5." It would think he would be able to make an argument in court. However, he would have to prove what he did as "her manager" and I'm sure her fiteness at the time will be an issue.
I think he might have a stronger case for slander, though I'm not sure how much was actually said by Spears or her parents and how much was just media commentary against Lufti.
