When I lived in Boston, the easiest way to get tickets was from scalpers on the street. But a safer and cheaper way to get tickets, is by waiting in line for day of game tickets. Tickets go on sale two hours before the game starts. Be prepared to wait in line. Stubhub is more expensive but very safe. http://www.stubhub.com/

The best tickets are often given away as "opportunities to purchase" that you sign up for on redsox.com during the preseason.

You might give FanSnap.com a look. It is a ticket search engine that shows thousands of Red Sox tickets from StubHub, Razorgator, eBay, Monmouth Tickets, Seacoast Ticket Agency, TicketNetwork, Ace Ticket, ASC Ticket Company, Pat's Ticket Center, AllShows.com, GoldenTickets, Choice Tickets, The Ticket Guys, and TopStarTickets.com all in one place.

I really enjoyed sitting on the Green Monster, but sitting right above the Red Sox dugout has been my favorite. However, you don't have to take my word for it: Check out http://www.preciseseating.com/ to see what the view is from a particular seat at Fenway before you buy! The best tickets are often given away as "opportunities to purchase" that you sign up for on redsox.com during the preseason.
