I guess it's just a unsolvable mystery, hopefully the last book will give everyone a straight answer!

I would but I can't get my hands on it. And I heard most people say the book doesn't tell you.
Actually, the book does....but you have to read carefully, and it's not until the final book, anyway, that it's revealed.
The book absolutely tells you. It does. I believe it is clearly spelled out, too.
Drat! I was hoping It wouldn't come to reading the book!
