If a guy likes to read Christopher Moore and Neil Gaiman sci-fi comedy books.....

What are other good, well-written (general audience rated) books to read?
Other favorites are, for example, Star Trek, earlier Star Wars... etc.... Thank you!

You picked two slightly different authors to compare to.

Christopher Moore is known as an absurdist fiction auther and can be compared to the likes of Kurt Vonnegut, Joseph Heller, Lewis Carrol and Douglas Adams.

Neil Gaiman is known as fantasy whom you can compare with Ray Bradbury, Philip K Dick, Terry Brooks and Tolkien

All of these authers have many books (many have series) that you should check out. Since they all have so many books, if you find one of these authers to have a voice that speaks to you, you will have many hours of entertainment ahead of you as you read through their whole collection!
