I have read the book.
I've read it a few times.

In the book, Timothy Ferriss outlines an extreme approach to productivity. He explains how it is possible to complete a regular 9am to 5pm workweek into just 4 hours. This sounds sensational and impossible.
Ferriss extreme methods focus on organization and simple limitations.
I don't personally subscribe to the "4 hour workweek" however I think that the lessons that Ferriss outlines are very important. Organization, streamlining, task oriented flurries of activity, alongside a general "get it done now" attitude are what I consider keys to success.
While I still consider it important to work full days (at least 4 days a week), striving to obtain a 4 hour workweek (for any one project) is a great goal.

• I recently read the book and quite like the way it was written. Although not for everyone, I quite liked the whole perspective on money, life and work.
Thanks

I have not read the book myself, but seen some reviews, and even looked it over in the bookshop. I guess you can deduce from the fact that I didn't buy it that I don't rate it as a must-read.
It seems to combine some (by now quite well known) ideas about productivity, passive income, etc, and package them with an eye-catching title. If you have never come across those ideas before then it's probably as good a place to learn them as any.
Personally I wanted to share a quote I love about this kind of thinking...
"In Dean Hunt’s great phrase, they spend 16 hours a day working so they can make money while they sleep."

You have read it *several*times? Does that mean you found some gold in there? If so, would love to hear the nuggets!
I don't read very many books like this; maybe 1 or 2 a year. When I spend the time with them, I highlight the key explanations that I would like to apply. This book has a surprising amount of highlighter in it. Part instruction manual, this book lends itself well to understanding the key principles of streamlining your time.
I work on a couple of different projects at a time. I don't keep a hard schedule but I do constantly try to reduce the amount of labour and time to a minimum for each task. This methodology works well and is the core of The 4-Hour Work Week.
If this sounds like something that can help you, grab the book!
I regularly buy this book and send it as a gift to people.
