I've been visiting shvoong.com lately. They have translations too. Every now and then they have a treasure hunt.

I find Blogging for a Good Book (http://bfgb.wordpress.com/) from the Williamsburg Regional Library very helpful. You can sort by category, and sometimes they have a weekly theme. They also review film.
