You may want to take a look at this site, it gives a large selection of non-fiction books which is updated regularly.

Really fascinating just as pure history, but also feels really relevant to today, as so many of our contemporary leaders and public intellectuals came up with and through the Nixon administration.
Plus, I generally just find Nixon the man interesting, and it's a good tie in with "Frost/Nixon," if you've seen the movie.
Here's part 1 of a 3-part interview with Perlstein about the book:

Living The Wisdom Of The Tao: The Complete Tao Te Ching and Affirmations by Wayne Dyer, released in March 2008. I have long been a fan of Wayne Dyer's books, and this one did not disappoint.

I'd go with Rick Perlstein's ceaselessly compelling, incredibly thorough "Nixonland: The Rise of a President and the Fracturing of America." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nixonland
