Here is a book that fits your specific request for historical fiction about female nurses during the Civil War:
South Under a Prairie Sky by C. Kay Larson
It is written in the form of a journal by a character named Nell Churchill, who is a "composite character, based on nurse and scout memoirs" in addition to "Civil War histories, newspapers, journals and letters" and thus relies heavily on actual facts:

Here it is for sale at Xlibris:

This next one may be of interest to you. Although it isn't specifically about female nurses, it does take place in a hospital setting. Readers are saying very positive things about it:
Two Brothers: One North, One South by David H. Jones
"Whitman served as a nurse during the war, and in Two Brothers he functions as a caretaker of the wounded Prentiss brothers – men hospitalized in the wake of the fighting."

All about the author and the book:

Here it is on the Barnes & Noble site:

Also, here's something interesting for history buffs. This site contains a list of bookstores which specialize in American Civil War books:
http://www.biblio.com/booksellers/716/American_Civil_War_Bookdealers.html
Of course, there are plenty of biographical, nonfiction types of books about female nurses during that time period which are worth looking into as well, including Kate: The Journal of a Confederate Nurse by Kate Cumming; Letters of a Civil War Nurse by Cornelia Hancock; Civil War Nurse: The Diary and Letters of Hannah Ropes by Hannah Ropes an John Brumgardt; White Roses: Women Nurses in the Civil War by Rebecca D. Larson; Blue,Gray and Red: Two Nurse's Views of the Civil War by Louisa May Alcott and Kate Cumming; Clara Barton: Civil War Nurse by Nancy Whitelaw; Hospital Days: Reminiscence of a Civil War Nurse by Jane Stuart Woolsey. The list seems to be endless when it comes to true or mostly true stories.

The one I have heard referenced most is Clara Barton, Professional Angel. It's not only about her Civil War days but many other things as well. Including being a battlefield angel and it dives into her personality, behind the curtains...I actually have it on the way after hearing so much good I just had to read it for myself :)
