Adam Penenberg is a investigative journalist, freelance writer, and journalism professor at New York University. A contributing writer to Fast Company, his works have also been published by The New York Times, Wired, Forbes, The Economist, Inc. and Playboy. His first book, Spooked: Espionage in Corporate America received wide acclaim for revealing the extensive spying occurring between public companies today. He followed this up with a sharp condemnation of the Ford - Firestone controversy in Tragic Indifference: One Man's Battle with the Auto Industry over the Dangers of SUVs. He is currently writing a book on popular media and its changing abilities and responsibilities. His carefully researched, acerbic exposés will certainly imperil whatever chicanery he turns his attention to next.

Adam Penenberg Biography
I need to write a 100-200 word biography of the author, journalist and professor Adam Penenberg.
I'm willing to pay M$3 for a completely original bio that is well written and that would work well in a conference booklet where he was speaking or on a book jacket. Think five to fifteen sentences that give the reader an idea of who the person is, what they do, what they've done and why they should care (and why Adam is important).
I'll give extra *tips* if more than one person take on this task.

Adam L. Penenberg is a writer whose unfailing passion for investigative journalism has repeatedly garnered him national attention and acclaim. He first rose to prominence among investigative journalists in 1998 for his expose' on the unethical reporting of Stephen Glass of The New Republic. The fact that he did so while working for the online arm of Forbes magazine was an early validation of web journalism. He has since written two books and numerous pieces for publications such as Forbes, The New York Times, Playboy, and Slate. His most recent book Tragic Indifference is concerned with uncovering the longstanding relationship between Ford and Firestone, and the controversy and litigation against them regarding their unsafe vehicles in the first half of this decade. Tragic Indifference has been optioned by Michael Douglass for a film version. This is not Penenberg's first foray into film, as Steve Zahn portrayed him in Broken Glass, a movie about his expose' on Stephen Glass. Penenberg continues to write and currently teaches at New York University where he is a journalism professor, assistant director to the Business & Economics Program and head of the program's ethics committee. {edited to bring down the word count a bit}
