Any big kids out there still playing Candy Land?
Last time I played was when my nieces kids were small. That was at least a decade ago.

I tried to play it once when I was in my late teens, but I just couldn't do it. There's no strategy at all. All you do is roll the dice and hope you get the right colors and/or jump cards. It's good to teach kids colors, and it does have a certain cuteness, but as far as gameplay goes, there's nothing there.

We play Dora Candy Land with our daughter. Pretty much the same as the original but branded with Dora. The cards have colours to tell you which space to move to, which is good for small children. It helped her to learn the names of colours. Can't say that I love it though, found it kind of boring, but my daughter still asks to play it often. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bWJGrG_i8Y
