In this case, the best way is to socialize, a lot. Know your audience and refine your target.
1. Post comments on others' entrepreneurial blogs, along with your blog's URL.
2. If some of them have trackbacks, be sure to include links towards their posts in your own posts. That way, your blog will appear on theirs'.
3. Befriend some of them and add their site's URL on a links section. If they are nice, they'll reciprocate.
One note: don't implement all those ideas that you'll come across, don't clutter your blog with unnecessary junk, otherwise you'll only be seen as a try-hard. Sometimes you just need to do less and simplify what you already have, in order to get better results.

How to increase my Noobpreneur.com blog readership by tenfold in 2009?
Hi Guys,
I'm planning to increase the readership of my blog, http://www.noobpreneur.com by tenfold, as my blogging New Year resolution.
The blog's content is unique and the traffic is about 300-350 visitors a day.
However, in term of RSS subscription measured by Feedburner, my blog is a bit pathetic, especially considering the traffic counts.
Noobpreneur.com is currently having around 60 feed subscribers. So my target would be 600 or something.
Any how-to advices that already tested and true are much appreciated!
Thanks guys!

Very interesting articles, indeed. However, what I'm focusing to do is to increase my feed reader count.
Thanks anyway for the great resources.

Why not put up a contest in your blog? A contest for your subscribers can increase your feed readership count. Create a page or a post persuading your visitors to subscribe to your blog. Ask them to subscribe to your blog and once they subscribe, they will get one entry. If you reached the amount of readership that you want, then its time to draw raffle. See the subscribers in your feedburner account and randomly choose a winner. Ofcourse, you must think of a great prize or perhaps $$$ through paypal so your visitors will be encouraged to subscribe.

You arent going to be able to do this organically, at least in the time window you prefer. Best way to increase 10x + is to form quick and easy syndicated content-based strategic relationships segmented by industry. There are a few companies that are searching for content partners that actually have entrepreneurial member bases worth noting, mydealbook.com (real-estate based social network), nyc.csquaredgroup.com (nyc's top networking group for professionals), Decayenne (general exclusive social network), ASW (exclusive jetset community), Professional Blackbook (full of startups) and of course there's the GoBig Network etc. Develop a Noobpreneur title, post the articles on the websites or develop the actual content to be sent out with their newsletters. Good luck!

Put only one RSS button on the front page, but put one a bit bigger, "above the fold". Put a medium sized RSS button on the footer of your post, saying something like "did you like this post? you can get the latest posts via rss..." Most importantly, make room on the page so that a visitor can "breathe".
