Google page rank info...
I just found out my blog has a page rank of 1! I'm so excited!
I know it's not that high, but I barely update my blog and I always thought it was barely surviving.
I had a previous blog, that I put my blood and sweat into and it never got ranked by Google.
So I want to know, what does it mean now that I got a page rank? Does it mean Google thinks it has potential or high traffic?
I was always confused with page ranks.

PageRank is a numeric value between 1 and 10 that represents how important a page is on the web. Google figures that when one page links to another page, it is effectively casting a vote for the other page. The more votes that are cast for a page, the more important the page must be. Also, the importance of the page that is casting the vote determines how important the vote itself is. Google calculates a page's importance from the votes cast for it. How important each vote is is taken into account when a page's PageRank is calculated.
PageRank is Google's way of deciding a page's importance. It matters because it is one of the factors that determines a page's ranking in the search results. It isn't the only factor that Google uses to rank pages, but it is an important one.
It takes a long time to increase your PageRank, build more pages and backlinks to your site.

Thank you! I feel proud of my low, but good enough Page Rank.

Google PR although it attaches some authority to your site the eyes of google, does not necessarily mean better placement in the search engines.
Also it does not mean that your blog will automatically get more traffic
Traffic from the search engines is based on your search engine results page position not PR

i'll just add that page rank and ranking for the SERP's are not the same thing.
you can have a low PR and rank highly for a term and vice versa.
however, when planning on selling advertising on your site or trying to exchange links with reputable sites it can tell them that google sees your site as important if your PR is high.
