I would go with Facebook because it is a bit tamer than Myspace and it has a smoother, cleaner feel. The home page set up is nice with a blog like listing of updates on all your friends who are doing things, posting new pics or what have you.

Myspace is like a wild and untamed land and the spamminess is incredibly annoying. Bebo looks a lot like Myspace but both seem to differ from Facebook when it comes to page creation. Myspace and Bebo offer that aspect of social networking while Facebook seems more dedicated to helping you keep up with your friends.

So Facebook for me.

I'm inclined to say Facebook. MySpace I avoid now (cancelled the account), mostly because they never kept on top of the spam that happens through it. Bebo I have no experience of, so won't comment on that.

But, if you're a working adult, with little time to be tweaking your social networking site so it looks just so, and managing the photos and friend relationships, I'd say maybe go with Twitter instead ..with twitpic or Flickr to manage photo content. Twitter is incredibly simple, but that makes it powerful in the amount of maintenance you *don't* need to do. (I've pretty much abandoned MySpace and Facebook these days, and just exist on the Twitters.) :)

Facebook but I have not tried either of the other two options so I cannot give my opinion about it. I am addicted to Facebook. I log on at least 3-4 times a day. It is a great way to stay in touch with friends and family. I have learned things about family that I would not have known otherwise. You can share pictures with your friends, send messages and even chat with people (like IMs). If you wanted an easy way to stay in touch with people then you should pick Facebook.

I've never used Bebo...actually, I'd never so much as heard of it until you mentioned it, haha.

I use Facebook and Mypsace, and both have their ups and their downs. For me, Myspace is a bit more useful and overall the lesser of two evils. Even though I hate how slow the sight loads, the drama between people "oh my god! why am I not in your top 8?!" and the godly graphics that people shamelessly splash all over their page like a kid with chickenpox. But overall I still find it more useful than Facebook because you can search for people outside of your network, and view their profiles. It's nearly impossible to find an acquaintance on Facebook who you didn't met through work or schooling, whereas browsing users on Myspace is quite easy. And should you actually find the name you're looking for on Facebook, you can't view their profile to verify that it's the person you're looking for - not an issue on Myspace, unless that person has made their profile private.

Also, I prefer Fypsace because I like to access both networking sites from my cellphone. The mobile version of Facebook is just a step away from useless: you cannot view your friends profiles, look at requests or even read the mail in your inbox! You are capable of doing much more on the mobile version of myspace.

I prefer facebook because I started using it first and because I don't like the clutter of myspace. Websites that make noise or have large annoying images as backgrounds just don't appeal to me.

My friends are all on facebook and as a social networking site it only makes sense to be where my friends are.

The iphone app for facebook is also well done giving me no incentive to even try out myspace.

I was a HUGE myspace fan, and have recently become a facebook addict. I feel like there is more interaction on facebook, more ability to see what your friends are doing and then interact with them in response.

I must agree with ssharon that the iphone app ROCKS for facebook.
