Best sources for odd/idiotic/WTF news?

I'm looking for the best sources that highlight the most idiotic news stories?

So far I have fark.com and Reddit.com any other social sites or blogs?

I started a blog ( http://bit.ly/iidiocracy ) where I must find such things, the more sources I have the better.

Digg is one of my favorites at http://digg.com/offbeat.
Some are a little silly and pointless but I think they'd all be considered "odd", and they come from a variety of sources. I read digg religiously, but if you are using fark and reddit you might be seeing a lot of repeats. If you run out of content, try browsing through the upcoming stories (ones that haven't been moved to the front page yet) at http://digg.com/all/offbeat/upcoming . Again, a con to this is that the junk hasn't been filtered out yet, so there is still a lot of ads, "adult" content, and well, junk!

Yahoo offers some good content as well http://news.yahoo.com/odd . This is another one I used to read non-stop. The only issue with this one is you suffer from the limit of sources. Yahoo seems to pull most of their content from only 1 or 2 places, which means each story really is written in a similar pattern.

Have you tried sites like http://www.allweirdnews.com/ or http://www.oddnews.org/ ? I've found these before with a good ol' google search, and there are plenty more out there. These sites are catered to "odd news", but I wouldn't call a lot of it news, as much as just "wtf" items and thing people post. Worth a look though.

You might want to have a look at bored.com too. They have a dumb and a weird section which are both good for a laugh, and have links to things like stupid 911 calls or bizarre ebay auctions.

My suggestion: digg.com/offbeat and news.yahoo.com/odd
Both consistently high quality.
Both updated regularly.
Both closer to "news" than anything else I've seen.

Enjoy!

Speaking of procrastination! I think this is one of the most unhelpful helpful answers I've found lately. I'll try not to waste too much time with those sites... But I will. For sure.

Digg -
Trust the populous to nominate the most worthy stories, videos, and news nuggets on the web.
www.digg.com

Mixx -
If you like Digg, here's a pale imitation. Still good for funky news.
www.mixx.com

News Vine -
A little more straight-laced, but they can still dish the stories...if you don't mind turning to the "Man" for your odd news.
www.newsvine.com/odd-news

Reuters Oddly Enough -
Some more with the straight-lacedness, but I like it because this was my original odd news source.
http://www.reuters.com/news/oddlyEnough

The Onion -
In case real news isn't strange enough, here's some satirical fake news for ya!
www.theonion.com

Fark -
I LOVE the variety and accessibility of Fark. My second favorite place for strange news.
www.fark.com

...and my very favorite, I saved for last:
BoingBoing
Read it. You'll see.

You've already assembled quite a list. However, I have always thought that the user community at Fazed.net did a good job of identifying the cream of the "weird news" crop.
