Can you put a donate button linked to a paypal account on blogger? can you do it for free or do you have to pay for the service?

You have to pay, paypal fees. If you are a nonprofit, with 501 (c)(3) status you get a discount. You do not have to pay any more for the donate button.

i guess I mean do you pay any more for the blogger account or adsense or any part of how this process would work?

can you show me examples in blogger? ones with donate buttons, adsense etc?

Go to http://www.bloggertricks.com/2008/05/how-to-add-paypal-donate-button-to-your.html for a guide he shows you how to get and add a button to blogger.com . Adsense has nothing to do with a donate button. I do not know of any fees for using adsense. Go hear http://www.google.com/support/blogger/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=42534 and hear http://www.google.com/support/blogger/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=50288 for more info on using adsense on blogger.com .
