I'm a Buckeye fanatic, so it pains me to say that, yes, Boone probably lost a lot of money for going nuts like that. It's one thing to let things get a little out of hand and get cited at a party or something, but he was actually THREE times the legal limit according to ESPN, and he ran from cops, hid under a patio, had to be subdued with a stun gun...ugh.
In the past I think teams might have thought, "Great, he's an animal, he'll kill people out there to keep our QB safe." But the new commissioner, rightly, ain't havin' it, and with the Pacman and Plax episodes this year and the Vick madness still fresh in our minds, I think it'll take a much longer time for him to get drafted. He'll get drafted, but not as highly, I'm guessing...

Will Alex Boone's drunken arrest affect his value in the 2009 NFL Draft?
Former Ohio State Buckeye Boone was reportedly arrested in California last night with a blood-alcohol content twice the legal limit. Officers had to use a taser to control the offensive tackle for arrest. With all the issues with players such as Michael Vick, Pacman Jones and Plaxico Burress, are teams less likely to pick Boone following the arrest? Will he be drafted at all?
