Giant has an exceptional hybrid human-powered/electric bike called the Twist Freedom DX. You can buy it at http://bicyclewarehouse.com/itemdetails.cfm?ID=10088.
A cheaper, lower quality option would be the IZIP
TRAILZ AL (http://bicyclewarehouse.com/itemdetails.cfm?ID=10952).
They will only ship the IZIP

There are more expensive and sophisticated electric bikes out there (and will be even more/better ones in the near future--eventually, I plan to get a better one) but as a starter model, to see if you like electric bikes, I'd recommend the Ezip.

First question you should ask yourself is, "what is the best electric bike?" Once you get this question out of the way, it's easier to answer this question. When one person finds a bike they like, it might not be the same as the one you prefer. You should read this:

I need to know which bikes are available, I've seen lots of information about Bikes that are concepts, and you always here "available sometime in the future" that mongoose is sweet but it sounds like the guy built it himself.

I've ordered from NyceWheels before (have the receipts to prove it) I don't recommend them at all (or atleast be very cautious), they sent me some faulty batteries and never allowed me to exchange them.
Definitely keep your eyes open if you intend to order from them.

For the last year, I've been using the eZip Trailz Men's Electric Comfort Bike for riding around college campus and have LOVED it. It's amazingly inexpensive and does what you want an electric bike to do: move you from place to place without having to pedal. It's like a magic carpet. You just get on it, twist the throttle, and roll silently and effortlessly where you want to go. There are more expensive and sophisticated electric bikes out there (and will be even more/better ones in the near future--eventually, I plan to get a better one) but as a starter model, to see if you like electric bikes, I'd recommend the Ezip.
