*The best animated Short Film nominees:
* “The Gruffalo” by Jakob Schuh and Max Lang
* “Day & Night” by Teddy Newton
* “The Lost Thing”by Andrew Ruhemann and Shaun Tan
*“Madagascar, carnet de voyage'' by Bastien Dubois
*“Let's Pollute” by Geefwee Boedoe
The best live action Short Film nominees :
* “Na Wewe” Ivan Goldschmidt
* “The Crush” by Michael Creagh
* “Wish 143” Ian Barnes and Samantha Waite
* “The Confession” by Tanel Toom
* “God of Love” by Luke Matheny
The winners would be known on the 27th of february,2011.
To answer your question on how long a movie has to be to e considered a short film; well, any movie that is up to or less than 45 minutes is considered a short film. Although the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences defines it as any film that has a running time that is less than or exactly 40 mins, the Internet Movie Database says 45 minutes is the limit.
