Best free/cheap resources to learn Turkish?

I am going to Turkey for vacation in a couple of months and want to know the best way to learn some turkish before i go.
Tip for best answer: M$0.51
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Rosetta Stone is good, but it isn't free (unless you've got a good library nearby that has lots of Rosetta Stone discs in different languages). I would suggest trying livemocha.com. The site offers a few introductory lessons and if you are willing to review the work of others, you can "unlock" more free learning (one of the ways the site works is by having people from different countries review each others' work).

I'm using it now for Spanish and I have found it to be a good resource.
