BEST BOOKS for self-help & why?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Sadly no. I am hoping that sales will be enough that it eventually will be. However, it has not even been on the market for a year--so I'm not sure what sales even are at this point.

There are two books that have changed my life:
  1. Victor Frankl's "Man's Search for Meaning"
  2. Martin E.P. Seligman's "Authentic Happiness"

It really depends on what part of yourself you want to improve. If you can be more specific, I'll answer more specifically.

One over all one that is very old, but very good:

The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale. It's the granddaddy of all self-help books, and has launched more careers and happy lives, even recently, than you can imagine.
