Hello, we run a virtual sangha and a virtual Seminary for Zen Buddhism. You can also email me with any questions you may have. Check out the web sites and make you own decision. I accept students in remote locations and do not charge for my time. It is my gift to pay back my teachers. Thanks for you time and feel free to email me at dochong at mindless.com.

Answered Question

Mahalo is adding a tip to all questions that don't offer a tip.
Where is a good place to learn Zen Buddhism online?
If one lives in a small town and the nearest largest center where Zen Buddhism is practiced is hundreds of miles away, where can one go online to learn Zen Buddhism?
I'm not just looking for books or things to read - I'm looking for at least a discussion board, preferably a place to find a mentor and people to talk to.
I also need to steer clear of scam sites - I don't know much about Zen Buddhism but I am fairly sure that it shouldn't cost any money.
