Evolution is the only thing supported by the scientific evidence.
Religion is not supported at all. So, draw your own conclusions!
It's not about Americans only liking things in terms of two. It's about the fact that evolution is the only supported theory, by the evidence. If someone comes up with a better theory to fit the evidence, science will go over it and over it, and adopt it. In fact, it's not about Americans at all. The Creationists (I loathe to even capitalize that) are extremely vocal in the United States, but scientists around the world know the strength of the theory of evolution.

I was just curious if someone else had another possible explanation that they have heard or thought of themselves.
