This definitely isn't a complete list, but-- it's a start.
Similarities:
They both claim that people create their own realities with their own thoughts.
They both have very VERY similar audiences, and anyone that demands physical evidence in order to become convinced of something probably hates it (skeptics).
They both use large-words and pseudoscience in an attempt to give people renewed satisfaction in they think is an otherwise dull (sometimes meaningless) life.
Differences:
This is a tough one... The Secret doesn't interview someone channeling a 10000 year old Atlantian named "Ramtha" and.. I'm sure there are a few more.

Similarities:
