The correct answer:
I love Gary Vaynerchuk almost as much as I love Mahalo and Jason Calacanis.
[Right? ;)]
Kidding aside, Gary is a great inspiration not only because of his enthusiasm and drive, but because he genuinely cares and puts forth 110% everyday. I recently emailed him a digital render I made of a 3D modeled wine glass with the winelibrary.tv logo etched into it and lighting shooting out of the glass. Gary not only responded to the email, but was genuinely appreciative of my work. Its that kind of contact and commitment that not only makes Gary so likeable, but it makes him HUMAN. It makes you want to contribute and ties you emotionally to the product. The same happens here with Mahalo and even with something like Dvorak's 'No Agenda' podcast (which I submitted T-Shirt designs to). I WANT to use Mahalo over google and I WANT to design shirts for Dvorak because the business owners create a dialogue and show that they care. I can, and have, twittered with you, Jason , Dvorak, and Gary. You are all real and that makes using the product that much more rewarding. So to answer the question: yes I love Gary Vaynerchuk, he's real and he's a inspiration to do my best work.

I had never heard of him until now. I do enjoy wine, and would embrace any excuse to try new wine I could find. People often fall into a routine, and I have certainly done that. Ideas like this are essential for broadening your horizons.
I highly recommend allow someone else to make your choices once in a while. You'll either find something you like or gain a further appreciation for your own particular tastes.

I drove to Springfield, NJ to meet him and watch him do WLTV live. I wrote up something at http://www.coreycharette.com/the-wine-library-tv-experience/ about it. He's the same in person as he is on the computer screen. Truly genuine person.

I recently met Gary at a conference and loved his energy. He had the entire room ready to go out and startup a company. His gift is to get people to cut through the clutter and put their ideas to work. The conference itself was a bore but he was great. In case you read this Gary, thanks again!

Oftentimes, conferences are about those bright spots in a sea of boredom. The adage I've heard is, "If you get just one new idea from a conference, it's worthwhile."

That video was my first experience with the man. Thanks for posting! He does indeed have great energy and it's interesting to hear he's exactly the same in person. I guess I'll start following winelibrary.com.

I love Gary so much. His attitude in life has helped change mine, I went from getting out of a very bad and abusive relationship and becoming depressed to taking good out of every experience and not regretting anything I have ever done. He is an inspiration to me.

Gary is awesome. Every time I see one of his videos, he cracks me up. He is full of energy, and makes me just want to get up and do things. I think it is commendable that in this bad economy, he actually helped us out by offering free shipping (via his Twitter account). If you aren't following him on Twitter, do it now!

You should DEFINITELY subscribe (and follow him on Twitter!! @garyvee). GV is the best. Seriously. He is the only celebrity (i think he's a celebrity, even if he doesn't) I have ever been obsessed with (ok, I don't really count my pre-teen crush on Jonathan Taylor Thomas) ;-) His enthusiasm is so infectious, and he's just the coolest! plus, he seems to have his head on his shoulders. Whatta guy.

Clabuff (abov) just turned me on to this guy. He rocks! I was watching his gingerbread house episode (pairing it with dessert wines) and my wife had to come in to the office and see what I was laughing so hard about. Also, you've got to see him on Conan. He makes Conan taste his sweaty sock wraped around a piece of asparagus! Oh man...I'm totally signing my parents up for the wine club for a Xmas present! http://tv.winelibrary.com/

If you're starting your own company, if you're interested in social media, if you're trying to figure out how to get the best bang with your marketing, you must look into Gary Vaynerchuk. The fact that his focus is wine, is irrelevant. His advice works for every field. I like that he's practical, advocates hard work, and passion.
