Wow, I don't think I could answer that... Between Great Lakes Brewing Company, Ohio Brewing Company, Rocky River Brewing Company, Thirsty Dog Brewing Company and the countless smaller breweries, I think everything is covered in the state of Ohio... and with Great Lakes and Rocky River both being international award winners (and right down the street from me) I couldn't be happier with that fact!!!

Check out beerme.com for list of regional brewers throughout the world :) http://beerme.com/region.php?94

• I was hoping for a list of types of brews known, but this is the best of the answers.

I'm aware of that, but with all those breweries I am rather certain there isn't a type of beer that isn't brewed around here, hence my saying "I think everything is covered in the state of Ohio"... with so many Microbrew's, with between 7-20 types of beers a piece, there isn't a variety of beer that isn't brewed here, at least from what I can tell.

* I take that back... a type that isn't brewed in Ohio would be a Trappist I suppose, but that doesn't really count since there are only 7 Trappist monasteries in the world which brew beer (6 in Belgium and 1 in the Netherlands)...

In NJ we have the Flying Fish Brewing Co. naming its beers after NJ turnpike exits.
