Good Solid page to build on. The Only thing i would suggest is to add another step after selecting your container how whould the beer be poured in? how much head should my beer have? if any? What about bottle beer should I drink staight from bottle or pour into glass? How to i hold my bottle, glass or other container? I know it seems like a lot of questions, but it seems like these should be addressed on a page about how to drink beer.
Maybe add a video on how to pour a beer?

Though I have an affliction for reading anything I couldn't pretty much recite in one breath. (I have read a grand total of 2 books in my life.. all while finishing a masters degree in college)
So perhaps adding a "guide note" version on the side for people like me might be good.
I would probably horrify you with my typical choice in beers in the first place. Typically they fall in to the "canoe joke" category (FCTW)
I never really liked the taste of "real" beer so the rituals of college beer drinking were always more interesting to me.
Maybe you can add a section on how to train yourself to enjoy "good" beer.
It might work on others.

Yes. I'm Canadian. There is a Federal law stating that we can be exiled to the U.S. if we don't drink beer. Canadian's don't move to the U.S., they get kicked out when they're found guilty.
Offer suggestions and improvements.
There are a lot of funny beer drinking videos online. I'd find a few of the best and add 1 large featured video (the funniest) and then one of the Mahalo video blocks full of other funny videos.

Do you know how to drink beer?
If not, you might read my new Mahalo page on the subject.
http://www.mahalo.com/how-to-drink-beer?
On the other hand, if you do, you may wish to offer suggestions and improvements. It is my first Mahalo page.
I know this is a arcane subject so dry that it may even leave you thirsty after reading it, but I would appreciate any volunteers doing so and commenting. For one thing, I have really, in effect, written a short essay on a subject that requires a book. Is this style good for a page?

Yes, I thought about adding more about that and perhaps I will. I already seem to be getting a little flack about being so long though. I did cover it in passing. Certainly I think it was clear you should not drink out of the bottle, that's what all the containers are about. And I mentioned that you control the carbonation by how you pour the beer. I should go into more detail, especially as most sources are wrong.

Hm. Making a briefer summary might be a good idea, although to me it already is a brief summary. I was already thinking of a separate page or two for people who have yet to learn to like beer at all.

Then the only question is, are you related to THE Rob Brown?
And too funny about the Canadiens getting kicked out. One could almost argue the same about a few Americans (potheads, fugitives hiding out, people avoiding the draft back in the day, whatnot), but perhaps not *as* true as the other way!

I'm a bit skeptical about this answer, although Canada does brew some good beer. It so happens that I just visited Canada, although briefly. In Vancouver I went to the Granville Island microbrewery and taproom. They didn't even open until noon and had only 4 beers on tap. Three of them were light and sweet, the other a modest IPA. I enjoyed my visit; but, it wasn't up to the standard of most American microbreweries or brewpubs. Then passing through Montreal I had a couple of oversized pints at the airport, one Molson's and another whose name escapes me. They were a little better than Bud/Coors but not that much. And, the barmaid looked at me funny because I ordered two at once, being in a hurry for my flight. Don't they have two fisted beer drinkers in Canada?
Funny videos? Certainly not!

Well, I won't claim all microbreweries are good... but I've been to more than my fair share of good ones throughout Canada. There are a couple close to where I live:
While no longer a true "microbrew", Creamore Springs is a good one:
http://www.creemoresprings.com/live/
If you're looking for true microbrew, Hockley Valley Brewing Co. does a nice job: http://www.hockleybeer.ca/home.html
Oh... as for the "2 beer" order... the waitress was confused because we usually order "2 pitchers". 1 beer is fine for breakfast, but if you're serious, you'd better double fist the pitchers to be considered local.

Whole page? Why there are whole books on how to drink beer! I suspect you did not read the page to see what was being talked about. A page about drinking water might be interesting these days, as it has gotten more complicated.

why would there by whole books? You open the can, drink it right out of the can or pour it in a glass and drink it. I'm not trying to be stupid but if that's what you're talking about, then drinking that is the same as drinking anything else. I don't drink beer though, hate it, just was wondering.

ok i now read it and I get that you're talking about the type of beer, etc. I thought it meant actually physically, how to drink it , sorry

That's touched on too, regarding when or if to sip, gulp, or chug. As for physically drinking from a boot or a puzzle stein, that would take another page.

There are plenty of ways to drink beers, you can bong them, you can slam them, you can poke ahole with a nail before you open the can if your drinking canned beer then put the beer up to your mouth where the hole is and pop the top and "Boom" The beer flies down your throat but when you drink any alcoholic beverage you must be careful according to Manswers the new mens tv show it only takes 17 beers to kill you! So be careful and drink responsibly! Thanks for the question I hope I was helpful, Kevinr74
