In Cleveland OH both ways exist depending on the booth. Most of the booths will give the beer in a smaller size (often in a plastic cup), this is done because the backing company has traveled to be at the event. Other booths (those which have bars/restaurants they can set up in front of) will serve their beers in the 1 liter glasses.
We do also have a couple of booths that sell steins, and you can get discounted refills if you purchase one of them to use during the event....
It pays to have a large number of German/Dutch heritage in the area!!

A: Yes and No and maybe inbetween, because where I live the servings were advertised as traditional size, but it was served in pints, however the dominant local culture is a British derivative, so they might have *thought* they were being traditional.

At your local Oktoberfest, do they serve the beer in the traditional 1 liter glasses or smaller sizes or both?
Please mention where this is, so I can compare different Oktoberfests.

Well, until I review the rules of Mahalo membership to know if it's kosher to broadcasting personal GPS, I'll just say it's a jurisdiction with legislation declaring that all beer must be sold in, yes, imperial pints.
