When considering any beauty product that could be considered medical. I consider risk (side effects) and cost.
Based on the article you provided, the side effects would lead me to say, "sure, I'd take that! My lashes are long and think by themselves, but I'd try it." HOWEVER, at $120 for a month's supply, I'd have to say, "Absolutely not. No No way uh uh forget it!"
I'd save that money and get a... well Joe Cocker sang it best... " lovelift us up where we belong"

Men or women with long eyelashes look a lot more sexier than those without. That's why there are so many products for eyelashes (curlers, mascaras, prosthetic ones etc...).
$120 dollars a month is not that much, considering the self esteem it can give to a person, and also considering that laser hair removal is such a fast growing industry and it costs 3 times more than this.
If itchy eyes bother you, then discontinue the use, but it's worth a try (just in case consult your physician prior to use).

Would you take a drug to get longer, thicker eyelashes?
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/14/health/research/14lash.html
Allergan...plans to introduce Latisse, the first federally approved prescription drug for growing longer, lusher lashes. The product has the same formula as Allergan’s eye drops for glaucoma, called Lumigan. It is one of several drugs in a category known as prostaglandin analogs, which are meant to reduce dangerous pressure in the eyeball. But as a side effect, the treatment tends to make the eyelashes of many patients longer and fuller.

No. The FDA's record is dismal on protecting Americans. Se the Vioxx scandal, and many others. The benefit - and I admit, long gorgeous lashes are a longtime wish of mine - does not outweigh the risk.

If the drug is approved and the only side effects are; itchy eyes and eyelid pigmentation, I would do it. Men or women with long eyelashes look a lot more sexier than those without. That's why there are so many products for eyelashes (curlers, mascaras, prosthetic ones etc...).

All I know is it seems like a hassle to get this product. I wouldn't want to have to get a prescription when there are already other lash products that work wonders. I have been using Revitalash for over a year now and can seriously tell all of you my lashes are AMAZING!! They were even created by an eye doctor, so I feel safe using it... Thanks, Lucy
