Why is everything at J. Crew so slouchy this season? What happened to the J. Crew I know and love?!

Fashion changes. It has to, or everyone could amass a gorgeous wardrobe and then just replace things as they wore out.

At least it's not slouchy like late 80's to early 90's. Sweaters down to the knees? THAT'S slouch. Things that don't fit like a sausage skin but have a little breathing space built in? That's comfortable in hot weather. I've been waiting for the sausage skin look to go out, and maybe it finally is. It's only attractive on 14-year-olds anyhow. Anyone with the slightest hint of muffin top, let alone really overweight, looks awful in the sausage skin fashions of the last decade.
