I'm a BIG fan of the Mach 3 - I've been using it since they came out with it. But recently I upgraded to the Turbo - it seems better on my skin, I don't know why. It's smoother when I shave. Maybe it's the strip on there!

Quite a few of my buddies like the Fusion, but I can't bring myself to do it. I just feel like bladed razor that vibrates is asking to slices my poor face up.
So I'm happy with the Turbo!

Best is tough to say because it depends on what you like best. The Fusion Power razor requires a battery because it has a small vibration in order to eliminate razor burn - that little snag pull when a hair gets briefly caught. Also the Fusion has five razors - plus an extra on top for "precision cuts" - whereas the Mach has 3.

That all said, I really like my Mach 3 turbo and haven't found a need to upgrade. Razors get very expensive. I believe that the Fusion razors are more expensive than the Mach razors, plus if you go for the power one, then you'll have to pay for batteries.

This review sums up the comparison really well: http://www.shavingstuff.com/archives/004831.php

Personally I use the free Gillette Fusion manual razor they sent me in the mail. It has 5 blades in the front and gives me a nice complete shave without having to double back. It even has an extra blade on the other side for precision trimming which I have found useful from time to time. Overall, it's a good razor and much better than the single or double blade disposable razors.

I have yet to try the powered version though, they look intriguing.

I've been using Gillette razors since I started shaving - they actually sent me a Mach 3 on my 16th or 18th birthday and I've stuck with them ever since!

They actually have 7 different razors under their men's shaving line: Good News, Blue II, Mach 3, Mach 3 Turbo, M3 Power, Fusion and Fusion Power.

Each razor has been steadily improved and seems to offer a better, closer shave each time around. And the Fusion Power is definitely the best one they've come up with...so far.

Fusion Power has 6 blades, 5 on the typical shaver and 1 on precision trimmer for tough to shave parts of your face (vs. 3 for the Mach 3). It also has 15 microfins to help shave through the shapes of your face (vs. 10 for the Mach 3). In addition, it's battery powered with micropulses that helps move the shaver along. Finally, it has a low battery indicator light and an automatic shut-off in case you're in a rush and forget to turn it off!
