What supermodel was also an (aerospace?) engineer?

My wife (we're both engineers) vaguely remembers that a major supermodel (we're talking major, from 10-15 years ago when the word "supermodel" really meant something) was also an engineer - maybe not practicing, but definitely with a degree. She may have been an aerospace engineer in particular. Does anyone have any idea who we could be thinking of?

This may not be of any help at all, but I know that Cindy Crawford won a scholarship for and majored in Chemical Engineering at Northwestern University. However, she never finished her degree.

Thanks! Cindy Crawford was one of our leading theories (and may be correct), but we really think the person in question actually received her degree. Though as I said, the memories are vague and we could be mistaken.

You may be thinking of Summer Williams who was an NFL cheerleader and NASA engineer.

Summer Williams is a Houston Texans cheerleader and a NASA rocket scientist. The 25-year-old aerospace engineer is an assistant project manager at the Jacobs Engineering Group, working on NASA's International Space Station. Her career goal is to become the CEO of an aerospace company. She tried out for the Texans on a dare, and is now a 3rd year veteran of the cheerleading squad.
