My Solia flat iron also works very well for curling.

Whatever iron you choose, make sure it is ceramic so you don't damage your hair. Also, be sure your hair is completely dry and that you apply a heat protectant.
Now to curl, simply clamp the iron in the middle of a 1 to 2 inch section of hair then turn the flat iron in the direction you want the curl to go. Repeat on all sections of hair until it's curled. It may seem tedious at first, but after awhile, you'll be able to do it quicker. I never use a curling iron anymore.

How do I curl my hair with a straightener?: Ive heard of people curling their hair with a hair straightener. How do you do it?

For best results, you need a skinny flat iron (around 1" to 1.5" is best) that has rounded plate edges. One of the best flat irons for curling is the Chi. http://www.folica.com/images/products/3-A8526.jpg
