It may be hypocritical but there's a truth in that statement. Why are there wars or maybe why are there small conflicts within other people? Isn't it because some people can't respect or accept others' beliefs? If only we would take time and maybe understand each other, there'll be a better world for us.
We don't deserve to be criticized just because we believe in other things. Like what happened to Carrie, she was being judged because of her belief. It's a little unfair for her. All she did was become honest with herself. I'm not really agreeing with her but we must respect at least what she believes in.
I think what just happened could change some pageant contestant's view. I think they would think carefully of what they're going to say to the point that they're becoming hypocrites and won't stick to being themselves. Who wanted to be like Prejean? Who would want to be kicked out of her throne?

1. Carrie Prejean says that "people shouldn't be criticized for their beliefs". Do you think that statement is hypocritical?
