Anyone have any experience with North Face Paramount Pants? I've heard mixed reviews, specifically on the post 2007 pairs. Anything cheaper?

I have never tried the Paramount Pants, but I love everything else by that brand! Whenever I can get coupons for the North Face, I go shopping. I especially love my Ultra 104 GTX XCR shoes. I use them for everything, and they have held up awesome! So, my answer would be to get them, judging by my experiences with the brand.
