A rope belt with a "bloody" hand caught in it, as though you hacked it off in defense of your chastity.
Or a "bloody" ruler, again with the bloody hand, as if you got a little too rough with one of your "live" students--carry the ruler in one hand or hang it from the belt. You can be Sister Scary Mary.

I know it is very gross, but perhaps something a zombie nun might do.
Another idea is perhaps having a sacrificial knife in the shape of a cross attached to your belt, or made a belt our of rosary beads (prayer beads) with a few strands of beads hanging down around it. It would look really neat.

What props would be best with a Zombie Nun costume?
My costume has changed and I am now going as a Zombie Nun. I'd like to have a prop to go with the costume so I'm welcoming ideas. I already have a wooden cross necklace but was considering some type of belt also. Best suggestion gets the tip!

• This is a great idea. I'm going to use the hand and ruler idea and pair it with a skull head belt!

The one prop that would really tie these two ideas together would be to have a rubber or plastic brain to carry around with you. http://www.bizrate.com/halloween-props-effects/fake-brain-prop/

You could made a belt to look like it was made from human parts, or use a rope and keep several pieces of your last meal there either tucked in or tied on. Like you are saving those for later. I know it is very gross, but perhaps something a zombie nun might do.
