hi! I am trying to learn to weave beads, yes, and make small purses. I have a small loom. Going to master straight strips before I move to circles, though, or small purses. They are so cool!
Where do you buy your beads?
New sources are always great.
I mail order from http://www.firemountaingems.com for the unusual things. Otherwise Joann Crafts and Fabrics or Michaels is nice.
Hubby is part native American Indian, (grandparents) so we try to honor their crafts, yes. :)

Anyone here doing any Native American Beadwork?
I remember working on an amulet pouch when I was first learning to bead.

• I collected my beads from a number of retailers all over Los Angeles. Some of those shops no longer exist, but luckily there are still several in the area.

hi, it sounds lovely. I don't consider myself at expert at it, good enough to write "textbook quality" publications. I hope someone claims it. thank you!
