Is Eddy Curry gay? Has there ever been an openly gay NBA player?

Eddy Curry of the New York Knicks is being sued by former driver David Kuchinsky for allegations of sexual harassment. Do you think he is being shaken down or do you think he is a closeted homosexual?

If he is gay could he come out of the closet and still be able to play in the NBA?

Although not "gay" by direct means, Dennis Rodman has admitted to being bisexual, which is about as far as I believe any other has. The only player to admit being gay openly was John Amaechi, and that was after he stopped playing.

Rodman doesn't identify as gay or bisexual.

Try a more feasible website... Like wiki:

"He famously wore a wedding dress to promote his autobiography, proclaimed his bisexuality and lived a flamboyant gay lifestyle. Rodman pursued a high-profile affair with singer Madonna and was briefly married to actress Carmen Electra."

He actually proclaimed his bisexuality in his autobiography. I'm sorry, but your fact refutal was wrong. I'd appreciate a bit more research done before you start marking my information as not helpful and refuting a public fact.

I am not sure about Mr Curry. On Gay NBA players, I don't know of any players to Come out while in the NBA but former NBA player, John Amaechi has come out after his career was over. I don't see why a gay player couldn't play in the NBA.

No more whispers. A day after former center John Amaechi became the first NBA player to publicly come out, everybody’s talking about Amaechi and the idea of gay players in the NBA.

I don't know if he's gay, but a lot of his comments are both sexually insensitive and racially insensitive.
