Jordan Hill. He's a big man on a team with very little size, and a shot blocker on a team which doesn't have one, so he will get to play, and he will be playing in a very uptempo system, so his numbers will look good.
Ricky Rubio, although I would feel a lot more confident about this pick if he were two years older. Minnesota also drafting Jonny Flynn is a negative,. Rubio is the sort of flashy player who will be very popular with the media, and they are the ones doing the voting. and he has done very well in Europe in good competition.

There are two rookies that I believe have a shot at contesting Blake Griffin for ROY honors. The first person is Tyreke Evans. He has the athletic ability to play a full season in the NBA and will be on a team that is desperate in finding a new star. If he plays well, he can soon become the focal point of their offense along with Kevin Martin. The other player is Demar Derozan. He is probably the most gifted athletically of all the rookies and has a game that is molded for the NBA. If Bosh is still with Toronto next year, DeRozan would be a great sidekick along with Turkoglu in feeding off of the Bosh double teams. Derozan is also a great defender and will get a few buckets off of steals as well.
