How will incoming MLBPA head Michael Weiner deal with steroid use?

Michael Weiner is set to take over as head of the MLB Players Association and spoke at a press conference today with David Ortiz regarding alleged steroid use.

We all know steroids has been a popular topic in Major League Baseball for a while, but what will or what can Weiner do to correct that? Should he do anything other than legal protection of the players?

In 2005, MLB adopted a 3 strikes your out policy. 50 games for getting caught the first time, 100 for the second occurance, and a lifetime ban if they were caught a third time. I don't think he really needs to do much more than that. Baseball I believe has finally caught up with the rest of the major sports as far as performance enhancing drugs.

I think he should ban anyone caught taking steroids and make them in eligible for Hall of Fame consideration. That should eliminate the problem.
