It doesn't as baseball players have for a long time used steroids and it's only been the past 15-20 years that it was made illegal. Also steroids only help so much when it comes to performance enhancing, not to say I agree with it but why wouldn't they do it when they know they can get away with it. That's my view on it anyway plus I play baseball and it would take a hell of alot more then just a few steroids to make you a great player. I still think they should all be banned and tests should be more common and more spontaneous but that's how it stands at the moment.

Another angle on steroid use is that it's a technology that enhances performance and why shouldn't that be allowed? As long as all athletes have access to all steroids, it may make athletes better and even the playing field.

It comes as no surprise as many top athletes are getting caught. Apparently, it is possible to use steroids and not get caught, but every now and again, they do. Another angle on steroid use is that it's a technology that enhances performance and why shouldn't that be allowed? As long as all athletes have access to all steroids, it may make athletes better and even the playing field.
