BARNRAISING #6 RESULTS! Find out who won, and who has the new all-time Barnraising record!
But though this was a remarkable team effort, one user really went above and beyond the call of duty this week. Our first-place finisher completed a whopping 95 tasks, almost 1/3 of the contest, ALL ON THEIR OWN! If I'm not mistaken, this is an all-time Mahalo record.
So congratulations to @Smartweb for winning this contest and showing what's possible with hard work and dedication. And congrats to everyone else who won prizes and participated in this week's contest. Now go get to work on some wineries!

in my opinion, everyone who joins a barnraising wins... you get the pages and can keep earning on the work you did!
the next barnraising has already started, but @lon posted today that he's adding more tasks... it is anyone's win.
i've only done a few of these so far, but i think that some of these wine and winery pages could be very profitable for those who do the tasks.
and you learn so much while doing the research!
so if you haven't joined a barnraising yet, what are you waiting for??
=D
lots and lots of tasks... XD

M$Actually what I think is everyone who participates is a winner himself, because the places are not the important things. It is the dedication you show and the experience you gain. If you can get a good grip in the style of working, with experience then no matter which BARNRAISING it is, you will surely win. So I think it is time to sip some wines. So come on everyone, what are you waiting for ? Let's jump in and give it a try. :-)
Experience and Opinions .....

M$I'd really like to do 1,000 Coupon pages since the current coupon pages are making.... wait for it..... wait for it some more..... $200,000 a year!!! That's $100,000 a year to our contributors and $100,000 a year for Mahalo!!! Across 1,000 existing Coupon pages... if we double the number of coupon pages, well, I'm not sure we will double revenue... but maybe!
Amazing job everyone!!!

M$Then, a small bit of critique: If I count my completed tasks, I count a total of 14 tasks for this barnraising. Shouldn't that be an equal #6 place with Legendkiller?

M$Well, if everyone is off by 1-2 tasks, the list remains the same... ;)
It's not too big of a deal for me... with 3 cases I would think it's everyone but @matt1 appears to have 20 too, and I do agree that I see 20 for @mithrandir, but only 13 for @legendkiller
I wonder if all the counting is one off... I had 20 which would have tied me for 4th.
there might be something to that...i counted 96 for mine
I will look into this today. If it was incorrect, I'll check it out and compensate anyone whose total was off.
By the way, what phone do you own? And what accessories will you buy with your earnings?

M$thank you very much.
funny you should ask... i own the BlackBerry Pearl 8110. i did all the accessory pages for it, i think.. or almost... then someone abandoned the task for the phone and i got it too. =)
and i need a new screen protector... too bad i didn't see one for the pearl like the mirrored or privacy ones for the bold. i could also use an SD card...

M$oh... for tips...
i could give a couple.
one that saved me a HUGE amount of time was taking similar tasks. i started with one phone type and did a bunch of those. it makes it easier when typing the phone name to type the same one and not have to look at which one you are doing and it saved me time on related pages... which is my next tip...
i keep a text document open and group the related pages together, adding each page as i finish it. i rearrange and add other similar pages as i go then cut and paste. even though i am cutting and pasting, the list is different each time because i continually rearrange and add more. saves an INCREDIBLE amount of time because you don't have to type them all out or look for them over and over again.
if anyone is really serious about barnraising and wants some more tips, PM me and ask... i'm glad to help =)
thanks! i don't know about maintaining that total though... i might let someone else try to beat me. i was almost dreaming about cell phones. =D
