If she were too embarrassed or, by my own words, "snobby" to wear shorts on an outing where normal people would be wearing shorts, such as to the Grand Canyon, I would lose all respect for her.

It's just okay. After reading the title I thought she's wearing the barely there type of shorts, like in the picture below.

There's nothing wrong with wearing shorts even if you're the first lady or even the queen. Besides, if it's too hot, I think it's pretty normal to wear these types of clothes right? Plus, she's not in a party or meeting or some place where it requires her to wear formal clothes.

I don't see anything wrong with them she can wear whatever she wants. The Obamas are a nice fresh breeze to the whole government thing. I think it's cool that Barack went to a game in jeans, not those ugly kaki pants almost all presidents wear when they go some place outside the Whitehouse.

Have you noticed that once Obama started running for presidency and became president all the government people started using things like twitter and Youtube? It's time they loosened up!

Besides doesn't the President represent America therefore representing Freedom? Then why shouldn't they have freedom to wear and do anything they want?

Anyway, wouldn't it be cool and hilarious if Barack wore skinny jeans? :D

No way, They were fine. She was out for an injoyable weekend I am sure with her family. I am also sure that Michelle Obama would not go into public with a pair of short shorts on anyways. She has great taste in style and presents herself very well if I must say.

Of course she should be able to wear shorts...just like she is allowed to wear a bathing suit, a gown, a suit and anything else she feels is appropriate! A family vacation, shorts.....you go girl!

This just proves that she is for real and not some plastic Bobby Doll. She is a beautiful woman, and so down to earth and to me that is sooooo refreshing.

Should she be allowed to steak in public.....probably not....but neither should you! She doesn't pretend she is better than the average person, she is classy and for real. She is the First Lady and if I can wear shorts and you can wear shorts than she, of course should wear shorts. They are most appropriate for the occasion.

If you become President or First Lady, and you want to wear a suit & tie or a gown to the Grand Canyon, and you can afford it....go right ahead....it would be your right, you might get people who will complain, who think you should have worn shorts......we need to get a life and not try to control what is none of our business!

Boxers or Briefs? Any problem with that choice?
