I found this interesting statement from here;
http://www.fastmachines.com/f1/the-price-of-formula-1/
"the estimates that Roush was asking anywhere from $12-$15 million to sponsor Jeff Burton’s #99 ride"
The same article says that the total cost of F1 in 2003 was 2.1 bil. Since there has been significant cost cutting, I am estimating that 15 to 20 mil is the cost of the Branson sponsorship. We know it was a multimillion deal from here;
http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/article5980935.ece
"The multimillion-pound deal, which was revealed exclusively by Times Online yesterday, is expected to be confirmed in Melbourne tomorrow by Branson, who has cut short a family skiing holiday to fly to Australia for the occasion."
