How do NASCAR drivers use the restroom during a race?

The drivers race for hours at a time, drinking water and Gatorade and such. I know they must sweat a ton, but what is the official procedure for bathroom usage during races?

Apparently they don't actually use the bathroom in the race, they're carefully prepared to go to the bathroom right before the race starts, carefully watch what they eat/drink the many hours before the race starts. They just hold it in and run really quickly to the bathroom after the race is over. If they really need to, they can just go in their fire suits, it's not like anyone can see them. Some people even wear adult diapers.

...I don't wanna know...

I guess the race is so fast that they just forget about bodily functions.

Maybe they do it during pit stops.

I think you greatly overestimate how long pit stops are. 13-16 seconds or so!

Simple: they go before hand.

Because of the high temperature and humidity inside of the cars, the drivers loose a lot of their fluids (i.e. sweating) through the course of the race. That is also why the drivers drink water through the race, to help replenish their fluids.

If it is an emergency, yes, they will just go in their suits. You can't pause a race for a potty break!
