I'm definitely exicted. I'm glad to know that the story will be resolved. I stopped reading around Book 10 simply because nothing seemed to be happening.
I mean, a lot was happening, but it was all intricate political machinations and tactical strategic positioning. Even in Dune, you get a satisfying narrative thread within a book.
What I'm really looking forward to more, though, is the Sixth Hitchikker's Guide To The Galaxy book. Eoin Colfer who wrote the Artemis Fowl books is going to write it.
I'm hoping that certain mistakes in that Adams made in the fifth book will be corrected (Adams went on record saying he wished he hadn't done some of the things he did, but he died before he could fix it.)

Who's looking forward to the final installment in the Wheel of time series by Robert Jordan now that he has passed on?
The final book (broken into 3) will be written by Brandon Sanderson from interviews with Jordan and from his notes.
Are you still excited?
