That would depend on your personal view of what is good.

Example,
I like to listen to Britney Spears and I think she is good because her music has pop hooks, interesting lyrics, lively tempos and catchy beats. Will Britney Spears ever be considered a *good musician*?, doubtful but she is good to me because *I like to listen to her* and that is enough for me.

The same thing applies to Carrie Prejean.

Her book "Still Standing" might not ever become a literary classic and it might not ever be given as suggested reading for a high school class but if you like what is written within those pages then,... Yes Carrie Prejean is a good author. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise

Just because someone gets a book deal doesn't mean they wrote it. Most famous people who end up with a book deal don't write the book at all, but hire a ghost writer to write their thoughts and ideas for them.

In my opinion, Carrie Prejean is simly a media whore full of hate, judgment, and fear. She is not the role model the Christian community has erroneous made her. She is writing a karmic check that will not be easy to cash.

I applaud her for seemingly standing up for her beliefs, however her beliefs are simply wrong and are born out of fear and judgment. She may have answered the way she did because she thought it would actually help her, but the world will never know the truth in that respect. It is too bad we as a society take people like Carrie Prejean and lift them up to celebrity status so they may broadcast their hate and Godless ideals to a broader audience.
