Donovan Bailey from Canada, he set a new record in the 100 meter (9.84 seconds) dash at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996. Then in June 1997 he ran against Michael Johnson in a 150 meter race at the Sky Dome in Toronto to determine who was the worlds fastest man.
Bailey won easily after Johnson pulled a muscle during the race and took home 1.5 million dollars and the unofficial title of the worlds fastest man.
