Luongo has .919 save percentage in 544 career NHL games and since the 2000-01 season Brady has averaged a QB rating of 92.9. However, most of Brady's ratings were lower than that (in the 80's), and Luongo has been more consistently good so I think Luongo's save percentage will be higher than Brady's QB rating.

Luongo or Brady?
What do you think will be higher this year? Tom Brady's QB rating, or Roberto Luongo's Save%?
Example: If Luongo has a 92 save% this year, and Brady has a QB rating of 95, then Brady wins.
With Brady coming off an injury, and Luongo with a new contract extension, it is going to be interesting to watch these two athletes play this year.

• I agree.
When Brady was winning championhips, he had a solid team in front of him. but when he had the 117 qb rating he had an elite team in front of him. Now he still has an elite team.

With the exception of Brady's career season in 2007 when he had a quarterback rating of 117.2, his rating has consistently been in the 80's, with 2 seasons in the low 90's (92.3 in 2005 and 92.6 in 2006). Luongo has a career save percentage of 91.9 with his lowest save percentage of 90.4 in his rookie season. Even if he falls to his rookie season low, he probably will have a higher percentage than Brady has quarterback rating, noting Brady's track record, plus major injury last season. I predict a high 80's to perhaps 90 or 91 quarterback rating for Brady and around 91 to 92 percent save percentage for Luongo. Give the edge to Luongo. http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/players/1793/career
