Who can find me the craziest picture of Black Friday?

The photo must be appropriate: No full frontal nudity or blood please.

I'm looking for a crazy picture of an insane lineup or a mob rushing for a product or some other black friday type occurrence that is so shocking one can only describe it as crazy :)

The photo does not need to be of black Friday - it just has to represent something about Black Friday in a shocking, funny or crazy way.

Best answer goes to the person who finds the best photo before the weekend!

These are madness, certainly an event I would never have part in. Look at these people, look at their behaviour, this is what consumerism has done to the common folk. GIMME GIMME GIMME

Do you think it's really just consumerism? Or is it something more primal? We're like a bunch of prehistoric beasts plucking a dead carcass knowing there isn't enough meat to feed everyone. Of course, this is a little more luxurious and silly.

Yep, the stampede was in 2008.

Here's an actual pic from just before the stampede started at that Wal-Mart store:

The first image is of a shopping stampede that appears to be somewhere in the United States, but it is not clear if this photo is from Black Friday.

http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn118/webloglearner/stampede.jpg

The second is a similar stampede in Pasuruan, Indonesia. Again, I don't know when this picture was taken. UPDATE: This incident occurred during Ramadan after a man decided to give out free cash. At least 21 people died. http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapcf/09/16/indonesia.stampede/

Remember the 2008 Wal-Mart stampede that killed one (http://www.nydailynews.com/money/galleries/walmart_stampede_captured_in_pictures/walmart_stampede_captured_in_pictures.html)? This is a photo of the crowd that allegedly caused that death:

The first one isn't bad - thanks!

I like how the people are smiling in the first and they don't look like they're in trouble (as in the second).

Hrmm, as powerful a picture as it is, I really, really doubt the second picture was taken at a shopping event, let alone Black Friday.

In fact, upon further research I found that the picture is from September 2008 in Indonesia when there was a stampede of women trying to collect Ramadan gifts of money from a rich donor. 23 women were killed in the panic to get money.

This one leaves me with the question... WHERE'S THE BABY???
This lady opted to use an umberella stroller as her shopping cart and I don't see the baby anywhere in site.
Here's a scenario I came up with...
Anxious shopper arrived at XYZ Department Store only to find that all shopping carts were in use. Being the crafty, determined shopper that she is she quickly retreated to her mom van to retrieve the trusty umberella stroller. It's great for hauling stuff!

I think this photo is just dying for a caption and personifies the shopping day without accenting the squished masses it instead captures the childlike rush of excitement as one descends the stairs Christmas morning.

This is Macy's in downtown New York, right? Coming off of the first floor elevator looking out the front doors?

Did you take this photo, Dustynine?

Sorry, I can't take credit for this one. It's by Lisa Waananen at the source URL - who has a lot of great photos on her website.

Her post says it's from Black Friday at NY's Macy's, 2008.

@island_druid, you paste the url link for the photo right into the text of your answer. Obviously, you'll want to make sure the link ends in .jpeg or .gif for the image to show up.

These are some photos of the midnight sale events in my city. Note that these are all kuxury brands and the consumers were of course, middle class and above.

This is why I never participate in midnight shopping sale, or any crazy sales out there.
