Hi, I am a photographer also, The best resource I have ever found is a book called "The Photographers Market 2009" It is the photographers bible. Every year they update it, the book not only lists galleries and art fairs but also lists magazines and stock agencies that buy photos, it is the best resource out there, you can go and browse it at borders or barnes and noble, they do not have a fully working website yet. The book gives full details on how to submit work for each situation, dates of events and any other pertinent informatio. From past experience I wouldn't ever pay for a show unless you have talked to other photographers and find out if they earned they're money back. Best of luck with your photo sales, and happy shooting.

I found this site, which appears to have an excellent list. It shows dates, locations, entry details, etc. I think this is along the lines of what you are looking for.

Check out artdeadline.com It is a list of art shows you can apply to, but it does require a fee to access. It's worth it I think.
